ONCE UPON A YEAR

Held every 25th of January, the Vigan Festival. It is also celebrated on the day of the Conversion of St. Paul. Many celebrations are made and one is the “CARNAVAL” which everyone adores. See the smiles of every little child as they ride in fun rides! The colourful attractions that take people’s attention to go and ride them.   You can find a lot of other events during this time of the month but this event is one that you shouldn't miss. It is very worth it to attend and to make memories! This is a nice time of the month to visit Vigan.

2 DOWN!

The Second Quarter was very shocking to me as it was far different from the 1st quarter, it was like a big stone dropped into a lake. It was soothing though when it was finished and I was relieved when it was done. I should have made myself more ready for the 2nd quarter like I did for myself for the 1st quarter.  There were a lot of holidays and I wanted to focus on myself more this time because I’ve really worn myself out for the 1st quarter on trying so hard. Sometimes it’s not about how hard you try but how smart you do the tasks that are being thrown to you. Being diligent and patient are keys in studying. The more patient you can be on writing your notes and how you organise them, the easier it is for you when you have an upcoming quiz or the periodical exam.  I’m proud with what I’ve achieved this 2nd quarter even though I know I could have done better. What is important is that I tried what I could and it’s better to try than just stay hanging. Sometimes it’s mo...

ESTUDYANTEPRENEUR

TLE MONTH! It’s the time of month for Technology and Livelihood Education, where a lot of students bring out their entrepreneurship. A fun time to show a lot of creativity, especially if those activities can make a living. I’ve visited a lot of booths, all of which were very fascinating. A lot of students were participating and a lot were doing work. The food they made was awesome! The dress making booth had some unique designs and they even had an “ukay-ukay” section. Imagine those were made from only students? They also had some extraordinary food, they even know how to make longanisa! There was a whole variety of just food. I have eaten and bought in some of the booths but I never got any procedures done like massages.  I have learned in this event that you can show your own creativity. In dress making and also in making those wood crafted miscellaneous. From your own creativity, you can sell all of those for handsome cash. You can think of anything to sell, there were ev...

It's Just Beginning

"New Year, New Me" all that same things that come out of people’s mouths. Most of them wouldn’t even last a week into the new year. But, we all were at that point in life so who are we to judge one’s happiness? Especially if it’s a new year! Thank you 2022, you have been a good pal to have, you were better than the year before you. New Year’s resolution here I come to not commit! Let’s all look back at the memories we have made in 2022 and let’s not forget about them as we make more in this year 2023. We all know that 2022 was a healing phase for all of us after the multiple lockdowns and isolations that made our mental health go down. I'm thankful to the people that has let me be a part of their 2022 and for them to be a part of mine and I wish that we could continue that in the years to come. We shall not also forget the mistakes we have made and let us try and not to repeat it. We are here to learn year by year. May we all welcome 2023 with open hearts! Grateful for ...

A holiday when the number one word is "giving". Giving to people close to you gifts and shower with love. You, your friends, and your family gather underneath a Christmas tree to celebrate this joyous day for family. There is food on the table, Christmas music playing, and the excitement of opening your Christmas present. The most wonderful part that you can do? Is to give a gift to a person dearest to you. Last Christmas, I celebrated with my family in Abra. We ate some juicy beef that my Father brought home, pork belly, and more that I can’t name. Of course, I was happy, I mean who wouldn’t be happy when their gift is a new phone? I even wrapped up a lot of other gifts for my family members. Cost me a lot! Especially my Father and Mother, their gifts from me were the best! We even had some games where I didn’t win anything because I hosted it and what’s a host if she’s gonna win her own money, right? It was a blast being there again, celebrating as one big family. Memorie...
