A holiday when the number one word is "giving". Giving to people close to you gifts and shower with love. You, your friends, and your family gather underneath a Christmas tree to celebrate this joyous day for family. There is food on the table, Christmas music playing, and the excitement of opening your Christmas present. The most wonderful part that you can do? Is to give a gift to a person dearest to you.

Last Christmas, I celebrated with my family in Abra. We ate some juicy beef that my Father brought home, pork belly, and more that I can’t name. Of course, I was happy, I mean who wouldn’t be happy when their gift is a new phone? I even wrapped up a lot of other gifts for my family members. Cost me a lot! Especially my Father and Mother, their gifts from me were the best! We even had some games where I didn’t win anything because I hosted it and what’s a host if she’s gonna win her own money, right? It was a blast being there again, celebrating as one big family. Memories were being written.

It’s all about giving. You will feel a thousand times better when giving than taking. It feels so warm to the heart when you see their eyes lit up and a little thank you can go a long way. Celebrate your Holidays with loved ones, may it be friends or families, or even your neighbor!

Guess this is it!

I vaguely remember the first quarter of the school year, maybe because it was filled with class issues in the ICT room. But as time has passed, the class grew together more and lessons inside that room were more entertaining. I can’t believe that this is my last reflection for this school year, the last performance task I’m passing to the teacher. For this last reflection, I thank all of the very important people that have contributed for this school year. My teachers, friends, and families. I’ve reflected a lot of my flaws and have tried to make myself a better person in both my academic and social lives. It has really been a great opportunity to hold the name SSC for 4 consecutive years, my whole junior high school life. It has been an honor to serve this school best. As I reflect all of my actions, I wish that I could have done more in those 4 years, especially this year since it’s post-pandemic. This years has taught me a lot of things, and one thing that will always be with ...

Me, in 10 years.

In the next 10 years, I aspire to work in a healthcare facility where I can apply my knowledge and skills to provide the best possible care to patients. Whether it's in a hospital, nursing home, or community health center, I want to be a part of a team that is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of others. As a soon-to-be nurse, I see myself in a position where I can make a real difference in people's lives. I am driven by the desire to help others, and I believe that nursing is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling careers out there. To achieve my goal of becoming a nurse, I am going to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at a good university. I am also going to take advantage of any opportunities to gain hands-on experience in the field, such as volunteering at local hospitals and clinics, and shadowing nurses in different settings. As a soon-to-be nurse, I also hope to continue learning and growing in my profession. I plan to pursue advance...

ONCE UPON A YEAR

Held every 25th of January, the Vigan Festival. It is also celebrated on the day of the Conversion of St. Paul. Many celebrations are made and one is the “CARNAVAL” which everyone adores. See the smiles of every little child as they ride in fun rides! The colourful attractions that take people’s attention to go and ride them.   You can find a lot of other events during this time of the month but this event is one that you shouldn't miss. It is very worth it to attend and to make memories! This is a nice time of the month to visit Vigan.
