It's Just Beginning

"New Year, New Me" all that same things that come out of people’s mouths. Most of them wouldn’t even last a week into the new year. But, we all were at that point in life so who are we to judge one’s happiness? Especially if it’s a new year! Thank you 2022, you have been a good pal to have, you were better than the year before you. New Year’s resolution here I come to not commit!

Let’s all look back at the memories we have made in 2022 and let’s not forget about them as we make more in this year 2023. We all know that 2022 was a healing phase for all of us after the multiple lockdowns and isolations that made our mental health go down. I'm thankful to the people that has let me be a part of their 2022 and for them to be a part of mine and I wish that we could continue that in the years to come. We shall not also forget the mistakes we have made and let us try and not to repeat it. We are here to learn year by year.

May we all welcome 2023 with open hearts! Grateful for another year! To all the people who had 2022 the hard way, this is the year that you will shine. Salud, everyone!

Guess this is it!

I vaguely remember the first quarter of the school year, maybe because it was filled with class issues in the ICT room. But as time has passed, the class grew together more and lessons inside that room were more entertaining. I can’t believe that this is my last reflection for this school year, the last performance task I’m passing to the teacher. For this last reflection, I thank all of the very important people that have contributed for this school year. My teachers, friends, and families. I’ve reflected a lot of my flaws and have tried to make myself a better person in both my academic and social lives. It has really been a great opportunity to hold the name SSC for 4 consecutive years, my whole junior high school life. It has been an honor to serve this school best. As I reflect all of my actions, I wish that I could have done more in those 4 years, especially this year since it’s post-pandemic. This years has taught me a lot of things, and one thing that will always be with ...

Me, in 10 years.

In the next 10 years, I aspire to work in a healthcare facility where I can apply my knowledge and skills to provide the best possible care to patients. Whether it's in a hospital, nursing home, or community health center, I want to be a part of a team that is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of others. As a soon-to-be nurse, I see myself in a position where I can make a real difference in people's lives. I am driven by the desire to help others, and I believe that nursing is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling careers out there. To achieve my goal of becoming a nurse, I am going to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at a good university. I am also going to take advantage of any opportunities to gain hands-on experience in the field, such as volunteering at local hospitals and clinics, and shadowing nurses in different settings. As a soon-to-be nurse, I also hope to continue learning and growing in my profession. I plan to pursue advance...

Held every 25th of January, the Vigan Festival. It is also celebrated on the day of the Conversion of St. Paul. Many celebrations are made and one is the “CARNAVAL” which everyone adores. See the smiles of every little child as they ride in fun rides! The colourful attractions that take people’s attention to go and ride them.   You can find a lot of other events during this time of the month but this event is one that you shouldn't miss.
