Happy Mother’s Day

The birth of her daughter has turned a beautiful lady into a safe haven for a little girl. Starting her journey as a mother, as a best friend, and as a very important person for that little girl. She was so happy that she was granted a gift, a gift she has to take care of, let it bloom, and let it shine.

It was a celebration, indeed, it stayed as a celebration. We celebrate it every year, two event in a year that is about them and them only but here we talk about only one. Mother’s day. Do you remember when your Mom used to always scold you for coming home to late when you went to play outside for hours? Or how about your dirty clothes you comes home in? Those are moments in time that when it’s happening, you just feel embarrassment and feel upset but looking back at it now, oh.. how I wish it could be like that all over again. It is very nice to feel a Mother’s warm and endearing embrace.

I thank all of the Mothers who have raised bright and beautiful babies, who have made their children’s lives easier day by day. They have sacrificed a lot and they ask us nothing in return. Happy Mother’s Day to all the ladies who had to raise us all.

Guess this is it!

I vaguely remember the first quarter of the school year, maybe because it was filled with class issues in the ICT room. But as time has passed, the class grew together more and lessons inside that room were more entertaining. I can’t believe that this is my last reflection for this school year, the last performance task I’m passing to the teacher. For this last reflection, I thank all of the very important people that have contributed for this school year. My teachers, friends, and families. I’ve reflected a lot of my flaws and have tried to make myself a better person in both my academic and social lives. It has really been a great opportunity to hold the name SSC for 4 consecutive years, my whole junior high school life. It has been an honor to serve this school best. As I reflect all of my actions, I wish that I could have done more in those 4 years, especially this year since it’s post-pandemic. This years has taught me a lot of things, and one thing that will always be with ...

Me, in 10 years.

In the next 10 years, I aspire to work in a healthcare facility where I can apply my knowledge and skills to provide the best possible care to patients. Whether it's in a hospital, nursing home, or community health center, I want to be a part of a team that is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of others. As a soon-to-be nurse, I see myself in a position where I can make a real difference in people's lives. I am driven by the desire to help others, and I believe that nursing is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling careers out there. To achieve my goal of becoming a nurse, I am going to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at a good university. I am also going to take advantage of any opportunities to gain hands-on experience in the field, such as volunteering at local hospitals and clinics, and shadowing nurses in different settings. As a soon-to-be nurse, I also hope to continue learning and growing in my profession. I plan to pursue advance...

ONCE UPON A YEAR

Held every 25th of January, the Vigan Festival. It is also celebrated on the day of the Conversion of St. Paul. Many celebrations are made and one is the “CARNAVAL” which everyone adores. See the smiles of every little child as they ride in fun rides! The colourful attractions that take people’s attention to go and ride them.   You can find a lot of other events during this time of the month but this event is one that you shouldn't miss. It is very worth it to attend and to make memories! This is a nice time of the month to visit Vigan.
