National Children's Month promotes togetherness, creativity, sureness and family values. Republic Act 10661 or the National Children's Month Act is celebrated every November and commemorates the adoption of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child on 20 November 1989. The focus of National Children’s Month is to offer help to those children who suffered from abuse, poverty, natural calamities, and violence. This month-long celebration aims to give Filipino children access to a healthy environment, good education, and healthcare.
Inclusion, for every child: the theme for this month's National Children's month is to ensure that every kid, even with disabilities, gets to be supported. The aim of inclusion is to embrace all people irrespective of race, gender, disability, medical or other need.Inclusion is important for every children to help them develop friendship, trust, self-positivity, and respect. Provide a better quality education for all children and are instrumental in changing discriminatory attitudes. It is important to recognize children as the most valuable assets of the nation and to emphasize the importance of their role within the Filipino family and the Philippine society.
Commemoration for one's child rights is a task where all are included and are heard. Children are an important asset for one's country and for the livelihood of others. We should not treat children badly nor should we shut them down and ignore them.
