Another Day for Heroes

National Heroes Day we symbolize for all the heroes who fought and died for our country, those who sacrificed themselves, but are those the only people that we celebrate for? It is a holiday that celebrates the contributions of teachers to society. Teachers are the most important people in our lives, so we should be grateful for them. We should respect and appreciate them. Students become better citizens by studying hard and being responsible adults as they grow up into productive members of society, all thanks to the teachers by their sides.

The day is important because it honors our teachers and their contribution in shaping the future of our country. It is also a day to thank and express gratitude for all of the teachers who have helped us along the way.

What does Teachers' Day mean to you?

Guess this is it!

I vaguely remember the first quarter of the school year, maybe because it was filled with class issues in the ICT room. But as time has passed, the class grew together more and lessons inside that room were more entertaining. I can’t believe that this is my last reflection for this school year, the last performance task I’m passing to the teacher. For this last reflection, I thank all of the very important people that have contributed for this school year. My teachers, friends, and families. I’ve reflected a lot of my flaws and have tried to make myself a better person in both my academic and social lives. It has really been a great opportunity to hold the name SSC for 4 consecutive years, my whole junior high school life. It has been an honor to serve this school best. As I reflect all of my actions, I wish that I could have done more in those 4 years, especially this year since it’s post-pandemic. This years has taught me a lot of things, and one thing that will always be with ...

Me, in 10 years.

In the next 10 years, I aspire to work in a healthcare facility where I can apply my knowledge and skills to provide the best possible care to patients. Whether it's in a hospital, nursing home, or community health center, I want to be a part of a team that is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of others. As a soon-to-be nurse, I see myself in a position where I can make a real difference in people's lives. I am driven by the desire to help others, and I believe that nursing is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling careers out there. To achieve my goal of becoming a nurse, I am going to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at a good university. I am also going to take advantage of any opportunities to gain hands-on experience in the field, such as volunteering at local hospitals and clinics, and shadowing nurses in different settings. As a soon-to-be nurse, I also hope to continue learning and growing in my profession. I plan to pursue advance...

Letter for the President

First of all, congratulations on you being elected as the new President of the Philippines. It's an honor to serve our nation under your leadership. Now, it is time to make tough decisions. One of your first acts in office should be to abolish animal cruelty. Animals are not just pets or food; they are living beings with feelings and emotions just like us. They deserve to be treated with respect and kindness - not violence and death for the sake of taste buds! An awful lot of lives can be saved by abolishing. So what do you choose, Mr. President? Because just telling people aren't working, lives are at stake. What do you choose as your first act as the President of this county? Philippines? They aren't just pets, they aren't just food that you can eat any day, they have lives and some of them have families.  So, what do you plan to do as your first acts of being the new President of the Philippines?
